Saginaw Grant is an American Indian actor who has worked in the film and television industry for over 25 years and is one of the most respected figures in the Native American community.  He starred as Jake along side Sir Anthony Hopkins in 2005 in the  major motion picture, “The World’s Fastest Indian”.  He is also best known for the role of Wilson Sam in the PBS television movie “Skinwalkers” for which he was awarded Best Supporting Actor at the American Indian Film Festival in San Francisco, CA and for Out Standing Supporting Performance at the First Americans In The Arts Awards in Los Angeles, CA.

He has also achieved critical and commercial success for reality television shows for MTV as well as Comedy Central and has been featured in numerous international editorials and in one of Bruce Springsteen’s music videos.

Today, he has continued his work in the entertainment industry and is one of Native America’s most sought after actors. He recently completed filming the role of  Chief Big Bear for the upcoming major motion picture “The Lone Ranger” also starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer and directed by Gore Verbinski. The movie is set for release July 3, of 2013. You will also see him in the cable tv series, “Family Tree” and “Breaking Bad”.  Saginaw is currently working with actress/social activist Mariana Tosca in supporting several of her non profit organizations such as DreamCatcher Wild Horse & Burro Sanctuary.  They were recently featured as guests on the American Indian Cable network to speak about these organizations that protects the rights of animals.
